This year’s theme is: Harvest of Gold, and is our 91st Panhandle Exposition. Not many counties can boast such longevity as ninety one years. In the history of fairs, people in the community brought works of their hands to share and compare. This representation became a social event, and there was virtually something for everyone- a list of categories so everyone could enter and participate. I’d really like to see an increase in entries this year from Texas County.
Improvements
The sheep barn project has been completed and includes new concrete and rail fence. Some overhead doors have been replaced in the Activity Center. A work in progress includes an upgrade in heat and a/c in the Activity Center. Texas County Commissioners and Excise Board are to be commended for their support in these improvements to your Texas County Fair Grounds.
Returning this year as our presenting sponsor is Epic PCS, part of the Epic Touch Company.
Bob and Dian Boaldin have long been supporters- and help make the fair happen with sponsorships and support, so please stop by and visit the folks in the Epic PCS booth inside the activity center during the fair.
Our entire fair book is once again online, and results will be posted in as close as possible real-time, for your viewing and record

Finally, we must thank those staffers who make our fair happen, including Rocky Richardson and Eva Mussman- also friends of the fair. We lean on them throughout the year and then extra hard during these months of fair activities and preparations.
